1st Anniversary trip

So, for our first anniversary trip we went to San Antonio, TX. The first day we were there we had amazing weather, sunny and in the mid 70s. We spent that afternoon touring 4 of the 5 Spanish Missions along Mission Trail. The last one of the day was Mission San Juan Capistrano built in 1731.

The next day the weather changed and it dropped to about 33 with wind and rain. We still enjoyed the day but it put a damper on some of our plans. That morning we went by the Alamo and visited the gardens and courtyards.

Our plan for that night was to take a river tour but due to it being Easter weekend that had closed the boats down. The weather did lend itself to some interesting pictures of the steam rising off the water.

We finished out the night with a walk past the Alamo after dark to capture this next photo. This took some doing to capture because there was a tourist that had nothing better to do than talk to one of the park rangers right in front of the Alamo. We had to persuade them to move so we could capture this.
